hi

when you say on petrol i guess your car is duel fuel??

if its always run on lpg i would be looking at your injectors..
as some times when you run on lpg the petrol left in the fuel rail evaporates leaving a residue that could block your injectors...

if the coil is (nearly new) it could still be faulty, try another coil and if it fixes your problem take the first one back and get your $$$ back on warranty,

if its the coil wouldnt the miss be just as noticable on gas?

LPG fuel is lower octane, so i dont think it would be as noticable.

if its the coil it usualy means it has a weak spark and lowers the chances of the spark igniting the fuel under pressure. ungapped or incorrectly gapped plugs can do the same thing because of the increase in distance the spark has to travel will effect it in the same way.

edit: if you run forced induction, i would sugest going 0.2 to 0.3mm under the recommend factory setting.
