how do i go about changing the lower ball joint boots on a 1993 eb whats involved or would it be just as easy to go to mechanic???.

bit of a fiddly job wat u do is undo bottom ball joint bolt then hit where it goes through the arm to seperate it then push the disk assemble and everything out from the bottom ball joint. then pull the clip from around the bottom of the rubber off and pull wats left of the old boot.
put new boot over the ball joint and then have fun putting the wire ring on cause its a fun job. i suggest have a 6 pack of ur prefered beverage
then once u got new boot on reassemble doing ball joint bolt up tight and putting split pin through.

its easy to do just really time consuming and fiddly
