Okay so ages ago I followd a diagram on here and built my own shift kit from a few resistors.. I've got the wires hanging down by the computer but so far I haven't had the balls to cut into the computer loom.

the way I see it someone said pin 82 & 83 I think.. but I can't see any numbers on the pins or anything. I even looked at the electrical scematics (sp) out of the manual and as far as I can tell they only go up to 61.

Can anybody provide clear and accurate information as to which wires I am supposed to splice this shiftkit into?

i presume you then have an EBII-ED? there are not as many wires in the EEC-IV loom as in the EEC-V loom found on the EF/EL.

if you go back to the original shift kit thread, if you go further into it, page 3 i think?, you will find the diagram for the EBII-ED computers.

I went back to tha thread and it appears:

the 18 ohm resitor is tapped into pin 57 and the 5.6 ohm resistor goes to pin 38

?

someone must be able to confirm this pleaz! I really want to finish this job.

yes that is correct.
If you undo the ecu plug and take the black cover off and look inside you will see the numbers for the pins

so the EBII series pins are pin 57 and pin 38

instead of the EL pins 71 and 81 ?

sorry if I'm repeating myself but I dont' want to spice in resistors into rendom wires in my ECU!
