um, if you can.. change it. its piss easy on a 302.

i didnt. and i had the dam motor out!

now i have to, and its all installed!! F**k. gonna just pay to do it, coz like i cant be shagged.

that's the way to do it - mine was done the same time i had the box out for the clutch to be done. it had only just started to leak too, so was good timing!

For what the seal costs, always change it if you have easy access to it, e.g. gearbox out, engine out, etc.
The same applies to welch plugs too.

yeh well i didnt know much bout motors when i undertook this task and it was something that wasnt mentioned to me. welch plugs we checked and they were fine..

oh well, doin it mahself this weekend.
