My EF started to have slow to return to idle problem a few months ago.

I replaced the Idle Control Solenoid (ICS) and that did nothing.

ECU Faults were 411 and 412, Idle too Low then too High.

Auto electrician found the problem whilst rebuilding the Air conditioning system.

Inlet manifold gasket leaking. They replaced the $22.50 gasket and all is now better than ever.

Just another thing to check if your idle is out of control.
