hey guys gonna surprise my gf she is away atm and she has just got her p's she drives a 1988 ford laser hatch. just wondering if a standard flip face head unit will fit in dash without cutting i have not had a chjance to look yet. any help would be awesome cheers.

Yeah i dont see why it wouldnt, you may have to modify either the brackets that came with the headunit, or the brackets on the stock headunit themselves, but i doubt youd like need to do any cutting or anything.

Best thing is just to get in and have a look.....

But if your worried about it, just get it installed at like autobarn or something, but that takes away the fun and learning experience of installing these sorta things

Just make sure you disconnect the battery whilst doing it, dont want to fry anything. (or have to replace fuses)
