Hey,

After having my car put on gas, i never really found the need to run it on petrol. But the other day a mate came around and we were talking and he suggested that I start it on petrol from time to time;

So we went for a drive. Going 50km through suburbia, i flick the switch to petrol and BAM!!!! I lose power, i quickly looked at the RPM's to see them dropping like a tonne of feathers. So I switch to gas, start her up again and take off. 5minutes later I try again. Same thing happens. So back home I went. After talking to a few people I've got the impression that the fuel pump has died.

Would this sound right? If so how much am I looking for new/second hand fuel pump?

Cheers

Anywhere from $200 to $500 for a pump, depending on where you go.

Pretty sure Autobahn has after market ones for $100 and something. I can't remember how much I paid but it definitely wasn't over 200.

cheers
