Has anyone had this problem before? THe door locks just cycle through 3 or 4 times and stay unlocked when using the remote to lock and when locking with the key, the passenger side front door doesn't lock.
How do I fix this? Thanks gentlemen.. :?

Check the alignment of the door with the body if the door is dropping when you open it and requires slaming to shut it, this can put a strain on the door lock mechanism which can prevent the door from locking thus causing the central locking actuator to cycle several times.

Thanks for your help men. I'll pull of the door trim and have a look. The doors are sitting true, may be an internal problem.....

I had the same thing happen, I think it may be linked to the weather,
it appears that it only happens on hot sunny days. it was doing it last year and stopped in winter then started up again. no idea why but its ok on cool wet days. don't know why but easy enough to confirm.

Yeah had the same problem with my AU a while ago, the internal of one of your door lock has s**t itself, you just need to find which door it is.

So if the passanger side isn't locking then thats the door lock that needs replacing, last i checked they were around 50 dollars at the weckers

Hi its more than likely one of the door lock solinoids is crook. I've got the same problem with my EL its just a matter of finding which one it is. Sounds like your problem is in the LHF door but don't quote me on that.Easiest way is to replace all 4 door lock solinoids. Its a bit fiddly they're held on by screws with 5mm heads. Hope this helps.Cheers

If nothing is blocked, you have a screwed actuator. They are about $100 each from Ford so figure out which actuator is broken and have it replaced with the latest model one.
