Is the ED/EF/EL engines identical? Would i encounter many problems converting my S Pack to the XR6?

I have just fitted an ed xr6 4.0, auto and diff into an eb1, the engines you mention will fit but the easiest would probably be an ed due to intake manifold differences in the el/ef. You can run the xr6 on your current ecu but would be better to use an ecu to suit the xr6.

yes they are pretty much the same..

i put a au engine into my ea spac..using el manifold and ecu...
