I am sure the tail shaft is the same length on AU live axle as it is on an EL. I would get out a tape measure and measure the length of the T5 including the EF bellhousing (bellhousings are the same length EL to AU) and then compare it to the length of your transmission and bellhousing combo.. You might need to source an AU gear leaver to suit the different body.
