I have a 250 2v in my xm falcon and was wondering if the xflow dizzy will fit in to replace the standard 1 and if not what is required to fit?
I have been told that i will by 1 person and that it wont by another and both are reliable sources.
Also is the bolt pattern for the transmission/gearbox the same for both blocks, i couldnt see why they wouldnt be but i cant be bothered crawling under the car to see and compare it with the xflow block i have in the shed.

They are interchangeable from memory. But there is a bush needed to convert one to the other but I can't remember which way :? . If you see the guys at REPCO or somewhere like that they can tell you (if they know their stuff; they were the ones that told me and supplied me with the parts. 8-)

I would swap over the drive gear off the dizzy, they may be slightly different. Pull your dizzy out and start measuring to see if & what differences there are.
