It seems with the selector to full cold but with air con off I'm getting slight warm air through the vents, like I have it 1 or 2 notches off full cold.

When I have air con on at the full cold it seems like its not quite as cold as it use to be the other day.

I know both problems are related and nothing has been done to my car to cause this, so its a fault that has creeped up on me.

Anyone got any ideas what would make it slightly warm?

I've checked the knob and the arm it sits on and it definitely is at full cold position.

Yeah that has been the case since day dot. It always has sucked in outside air.
I'm thinking a vacuum tube at the back of the control box or the heater bypass valve is not closing properly.

Need so more definite answers.
