I've been trying to remove the main engine cover on my XHII V8, but i've only been able to get rid of that overhanging plastic one. I have undone all the screws holding down the main metal cover, but there is one that screws into the intake plenum and just wont budged. I have the right fitting for the screw but it just wont turn at all. Is there an easy way to get this out? I've soaked it in WD40 and tapped it with a hammer a couple of times but still not luck. The only thing left to try it hit it with an impact driver.

Any ideas?

is it one of those star key screws? mine was and i used a bit from a rachet screwdriver set and one of thoes bars u get in socket sets that has the bit that slides along the bar and a small socket that fit the star bit. this lets you put heaps more downward pressure on the screw. hope ya know what im on about.
