I bout a new battery and buggerd up the code and now I have to reset by sending it down to ford does anyone know how to get ride of this problem on the cd player.

or can I get a new head deck that i can hook up to the existing system. If so which one should I get.

you shouldn't need to take it to ford, you should be able to get your code from your vin #, or worst case from the number on the radio. Try calling them first.

Check your owners manual - should be in there. Um, yeah, if you ask Ford, have $20 handy - they need that.
