Hello all.

I have recently just purchased a xg xr6.

It has a ford radio cassette installed in it that has come out of a different model ford.

It is a s**t home install with gaps all around the unit.

My question is what stereo did these come out with as standed?

and does anyone have a picture?. I would like to get it back to original if possible.

Thankyou. This is te current setup in my ute. As you can see there are gaps around the stereo.

Also the stereo is too "Tall". The ashtray won't shut properly.

If I get the correct stereo is there anything else I need? Will those gaps still be there or is there somekind of Panel that goes around the unit?

IIRC that looks like it belongs to an EF or EL.
