Get a set of explorer manifolds, extractors and exhaust, then see the V8 come to life!

Basically any exhaust should be fine. As long as you have a muffler on it.
It depends on how much you want to spend. But you could go anything from a single 2.5" all the way through, to a twin 2.5" or bigger. Keep your standard Cats.
For something cheap, i'd just go out of your standard cats, into a y piece, then of course into a single 2.5"-3" with one muffler and straight out the back. Then if its too loud, you can always add a resontor/hotdog.

Pod filters can bring some kind of benefits, but they need to be sealed up in an airbox, with some cold air getting to them. Just as easy to use the airboxyou have, perhaps get a re-usable filter, and try to get some cold air to the box.
