Hi guys,
I am in the process of removing the dash in my XF ute so I can fix the steering column support, as well as repair some rust in the drivers side air vent. I have managed to get the instrument panel, crash pad, centre control panel and all the wiring out, but now I am stuck on the ducting, which is last part. The ducting is basically swinging in the car, nothing is holding it, but there is a small metal hook on the hand brake that holds the hand brake to the dash, and that hook is preventing me from getting the ducting out. Does anyone know how to deal with this? Cheers Chris

Theres like an L shaped bracket holding the handbrake onto all the rest of the dash etc. Gotta undo one more bolt (from memory....and there's been a lot of brain cells killed since I did one)
