I'm working up in Port Hedland at the moment, getting about $1200 a week after tax, and that's just the local fast food place.

(after i pay off 2 fines and the $280 eye exam i had to have this morning ) F**k, I don't know how you can work so muchm i'd go insane.!! haha, not that hard. Chuck my 13 month old son in the mix every night of the week and every second weekend, then it gets busy

Safeway/Woolworths dude.
Bakers Delight Localpizza shops pay a bit. My mate works at the pizza shop on friday nights. He gets $16/h plus $2 for every delivery he does. So he is earning min $20 an hour to work and up to $30-$40. He also has 3 cars and drives the one that uses the least fuel....the 84 astra. As for me i work at bakers delight. It costs about $18 in fuel a week to get there and its only weekend stuff cause i have school but its base wage is $9.20 an hour, with 1.75 time saturday, double time sunday and 2.5 time on public holidays. I also work in the holidays there cause that gives me heaps of cash. Up to $500 a week and most of that on the car.

Work shiftwork (rotational day/nights with loading and overtime)
Sub contractor courier as a second job (claim everything on my ute through GST). I work back to back jobs ... sometimes I work 3 weeks/weekends straight without a day off. Wife works full time as well. I have half my house paid off ... own both cars ... and putting money aside now as we are looking at starting a family.

i think any place thats open 24hrs will earn good money.
i work in a factory 48hrs week with rotational shifts 2 days/2nights @ $28.60 an hour and it clears over $1000pw after tax. extra shifts are allways available but 12hr shifts can take some getting used to, im just a machine operator so the hourly rate is alot more if you have a trade.
