hey all
ive got a real curly one for ya!... au1 update, after sitting for about 3/4 hr, sometimes it wont start(cranks but wont fire and on the occasions ive been able to emulate this, it has had spark). will only do it once and then start with no hassle and run spot on. on one occasion it started and ran on 5 cylinders-shut it down, resarted and ran perfect. this is one of my customers cars and its becomin frustrating for eveyone. replaced plugs, leads, starter, coil pack, tps, etc..... had the tester on it and its not throwing any codes....KOEO and KOER please any suggestions....its a real piss off |

what about an idle problem? like the capacitors in the ecu?
or maybe a fuel supply problem? heat from the engine bay vaporising the fuel or something?

Try checking the fuel pressure as it's doing it. The fuel pump relay might be d**k under heat.. just a thought.
Cheers

I would check the fuel Pressure Reg. The same thing happened to me If I started the car ran it for 1/2 hour stop it would not start just crank over found out it was the fuel reg.
