Hi,new to the forum and was wondering if someone could tell me if i bought a second hand BA xr6 dash with 37,000 k's could it be programmed to suit my BA xt with 33,000 k's,. I've been told that once the dash becomes active with more than a 100 k's that they won't be compatiable to another vehicle. thanks Wayne.

It can be reprogrammed to your car. Just wait another 5000km then put it in! :D

It will work but you will have to have the Traction Control light disabled if your XT does not have it. All that happens is that the TCS light stays on, but Ford can reprogram the dash to stop it - also you will need to have Ford program the tyre size into the cluster as your speed will be incorrect.
You will also not be able to reprogram the amount of K's as it has done over 100Km, so you will be stuck with 33000Km.
