I Got a new ecu (thanks to darren at FTG auto salvage) that was from a n concorde - tickford enhanced i6, just fitted and went for a drive idles a s**t load better with the Wade 1004 stage 2 cam and gets thru teh rev range alot better.
i should have some dyno reading next week for both ecus to see if there was any gain but im more eager to see the difference in the AF readings on the dyno also!

well worth it, idles better and seem to perform better - should have proof liek i said late next week

once again thanks darren!

Good stuff nick. I found with mine that when I fitted the xr ecu, the wade cam performance was soooo much better.

the km's in EF/EL's (and above?) are stored within the cluster itself, on a special chip - not contained within the ECU. what model was it that yours wound forward? :?

the kms only change when you change clusters, unless you swap the chips over as well...
