Running dry ice is nothing like intercooling.

A good intercooler will only get the intake temp down to ambient at best as it works off the outside air passing over it.

Without a turbo and a good cold air intake the air temp should be the same as the outside air.

The reason people use intercoolers is because the turbo compresses the air and heats it up. The intercooler helps get the temp back down to ambient.

Dry ice is f**k cold. It can get temps down well below 0. Much different to an air to air intercooler.

Tell them to google what dry ice actually is.
Putting it in your airbox is up there with the worst ideas ever!

Sounds like a load of s**t to me... You would have to cut a big hole in the fire wall to get the A/C'd air into the engine bay...

the compressor would use more power then the few degrees of temp could possibly give
