OK, new radiator installed, new hoses and all done in a jiffy. Piece of cake on the falcon.

It's wierd, but it feels like the automatic gearbox runs better - but I guess that could be possible. Any one had a similar experience? I recall a post somewhere saying something similar but most people dismissed it as coincidence.

I'm not so sure...

Replaced my radiator 3mths ago as it was corroded on the outside but the trans still runs the same.I have a trans cooler for towing fitted from Ford.

Its possible that if the radiator was too hot then the trans might have been also. How much this would have been noticeable I don't know.

what he said ^, hot trans no work to well, very hot trans burns oil then thin burnt oil roots oil pump then you get no gears, grrrr
