Theres no such thing as going to ford and getting a ready made loom. You'll have too Re-arrange your clock plug wires and add the data wire from the cluster. It sounds scarey for a first timer, but once you've done it... you'll wonder what all the fuss is about! going rate for a TC is about $90 for a TC + partial loom (flying wires are on the plug so you can wire this to your existing loom)

Hi all... I just picked a trip computer up off of eBay. The instructions in the URL above are great.... but does anyone know where the right hand cluster connector is located, in other words, what needs to come off the dash to get to it? I cant work out from their photos where abouts it is.

You need to pull the dash apart until you can remove the dash cluster itself, the loom is the one attached to the dash cluster closest the drivers door.

I had the upgrade done from the clock to the trip computer. Bought off ebay. I got as far as pulling the dash apart and with help off a friend found that the pin given provided was the wrong size, used the pin from the old clock instead to contect the data line to the clock, if memory serves me.
What I was wondering has anyone upgraded the manual climate controls from the dials to the digital face? Thanks
