What sort of rear wheel power would I be limited to if I used a 3" mandrel bent system? Is 200kw at the tyres achievable?

high 300's at the treads is achieable, beyond that you should be looking for 3.5in

What kind of cat are you running ebs? You have a 3 inch exhaust dont you?

Ive already got a 3 inch dump pipe but thinking about running a 3.5 inch dump to twin 2.5 inch exhaust like the XR6 T's if it can fit. I want to keep the noise down.

i want to upgrade my system to a 3.5in, currently i have full 3in, no cat. one straight through lukey race muffler, its just a perforated baffle pipe through glass pack. its not very loud at all.... what is loud is my screamer pipe. lol

thats also something for you to consider when picking a pipe size, if you plan to plumb the wastegate into the system, with a 3in, then at around the 600HP mark (flywheel) it will cost you about 50HP from the increased backpressure

i want to upgrade mine, although i havent tested the backpressure, i feel i have hit a point of diminishing returns, like it is being choked somewhere...

Thanks all my questions have been answered, 3" it is then. I got some prices and the 3.5" is way more expensive than 3".

Ive got straight gas so im going to remove the cat and run a 3" dump pipe, a single rear straight through offset muffler before the diff and then a mandrel bent 3" tailpipe. Ive got a 40mm wastegate that i will merge into the dumppipe.

Does anyone know who makes a 3" taipipe for wagons? (EF)

a guy up here has a t-trim vortech blown 308 stroked to 355 with a 3 inch and hes making 650+ rwhp no worries, f**k mean car btw

would be different with a turbo tho, as the bigger the better.

I would except its the family wagon man!
Maybe Ill have to use a 2.5" tailpipe with a flange & adapter at the muffler before the diff.
