I got about 70,000km's out of my last set of Toyo Transpath's! (235 30 R18's) Absolute rubbish in the wet by the way, but for dry conditions and road noise, they're really quite good.

It ALL depends on how you drive. Ask an elderly person how long they have gotten on there original tyres, the factor in the P plates (divide by 10 or so) and thats how long theyll last

if you drive like a half decent person and dont forever have the rear's up in smoke you will get 40,000 to 55,000 on a good set of tyres. if your suspension and wheel allignment is all up to scratch you wont have any problems.
ive got a set of nankang ns-II's (235/45/18) which i got when i bought my wheels, they have done approx 25,000 k's and have about 50-60% tread left
