dont think theres many turbo kits for the BA because of the XR6T , but theres some supercharger places like capa

Ive got a snort manifold on my BA motor. It fits a pre BA motor as well.

I thought the BA and pre BA manifolds had different flanges do to 4 valve heads on BA's

they do, im guessing snort just use the same circle port manifold and bolt it to the oval port ba head

Pretty much. The flange plate has holes for the differences is bolt spacing and the runners are larger than the EA-AU ports so that they cover the oval ports. The port spacing is identical between the two engines. |

Legalities and insurance. For the money and legalities, I would be buying a turbo motor complete with all the accessories, manifolds, turbo, ECU and loom and drop it straight in. That will be easily engineered and cost roughly the same as a snort kit once it is in and setup. The plus side is you get turbo engine internals, which some people are pushing 380rwkw with no troubles. Try and get a late BF motor, they seem to have stronger rods. |
