well as usual get all the head bolts out untill the very last one then it moves a bit then the socket slips any ideas on how to get it off

did you loosen them all in a spiral fashion first? or did you just take them out one by one. Use an impact socket so it wont slip. if you've taken em all out without losening them all first, the reason the last one is so tight is because all of the heads pressure against the block is pushing back up on that 1 bolt. This will also warp your head.

didnt take them all out only 4 the rest still there just loosened the bolts pretty stuffed tried everything i can think of

This problems seems to be asked every month so if you search you will get some good info.
To summarise, only use single hex impact sockets - DONT EVEN TRY ANYTHING ELSE NO MATTER HOW GOOD YOU THINK THE SOCKET IS. If you havent followed that advice and have rounded the bolt you have a few options. You can file/grind the bolt down and try to get a 13mm socket onto it. You can heat the bolt to try and try to free the bolt if it is seized. You can weld a socket or new head onto the bolt. You can cut the bolt head, lift the head off, then grab the bolt shaft and turn it out.

I have also heard of filling the socket with liquid nails or epoxy resin, and leaving it to set for a bit and then having a go.

if it gets too round your only option is to cut the bolt head off
angle grinder works well if your trashing the head as this image sugests http://www.fordmods.com/forums/uploads/thumbs/t_000_0232_190.jpg drill a 10mm hole as close to centre as you can. use a good sharp drill bit as the bolts are blo*dy hard. upward force of the head will rip it off then. and as above only use impact sockets http://www.fordmods.com/forums/uploads/thumbs/t_000_0215_resize2_206.jpg Quote: option 1
if you you have a welder there weld another bolt on top and use that one to undo it option 2 heat up the old bolt and hammer an old socket smaller than 14mm to it (good luck gettin the bolt out after though) option 3 (i'm trying this) clean the bolt and liquid nail a 14mm socket to the sucker (l/n's take time to dry) then be gentle dingstock

drill it relases tension and should be able to be rutned by fingers... wanna drill straight but. but use a really decent bit as ave bits will break
this happened to me... we didnt have an angle grinder or digrinder so had to use a cold chisel *note i replaced the head anyway the cold chisle made alotta mess* |
