Hi all,

New to this forum but hopefully can be of use to some people :)

I'm looking to upgrade my ICC in my BA XR6 Turbo to one from an F6. At present my ICC has the premium screen, 6-disc stacker and no climate control. I have a couple of questions:

1. At present, I don't have climate control. If I replace the ICC with one that has the premium screen, 6 disc stacker (like the one I have already) and single/dual zone climate control, will I need to replace any other parts?

2. I understand that the ICC stores part of the ignition sequence data (ie the key codes). Will I need to have the new ICC reprogrammed before I install it?

Secondly, I'm looking to also install the leather seats from a F6. At the moment I don't have the programmable driver memory thing. If I install a new drivers seat that has the driver memory function, do I need to do anything crazy to make it work?

Thanks every1

I dont think the F6 has memory seats

You certainly have a big job on your hands - For climate control you will need to change your complete dash loom, and you will need to add control rods and hvac modules to get it working.

It can be done - xygthoph3 just did a conversion for XR8 Dismantler. He put a F6 motor and 6 speed auto into a ba wagon - with climate control etc

The thread is in off topic - called BA Tsunami
