I'd get rid of the paint job to start with, I like the idea, but I think it doesn't look good, my opinion but.
Shift the battery to the boot will help clean it up. PWR aluminium header/overflow tank/bottle looks a lot smarter with a CPC Chrome radiator cap. Polish the thermostat housing and the BBM. |

Hey mate.
This is an interesting topic and I will be watching it closely. In terms of what you have done, it looks ok. Not my choice of colour scheme but it would depend on the colour of the car? In terms of tidying up....this is a tough one. As said, chrome cover for coolant tank. New leads (not blue) I find it very hard to tidy anything up on these cars without major works (ie, moving battery, hiding all wires etc)

Black igniution leads would be less noticable.
Hide anycoloured wire, either cover it in black electrical tape or in split tubing. Remove the rear sound deadener as it looks like it's starting to fall apart. If you resprayed the entire engine bay in black would look a lot less dirty and noticable - something I'd love to do to my car. That's about all I can think of ATM. O, a billet windscreen washer bottle. I've been attempting to make one myself out of a Monza M-spec Radiator Overflow bottle. |

the car is dark blue with genuine eb gt mags hence the blue and gold colour scheme. the blue paint i used turned out to be more of a royal blue instead of the navy look it was meant to be. i just dont want to do the whole stupid red tappet cover look as it aint no tickford

Ha ha fair enough! And i agree, if you dont have, dont try and make it looks like u do!
Cover and combine as many wires as you can with the split corrugated hosing. Did that to my dads car and it came up extremely well, very noticeable difference. Its the rainbow of colours of the wires that can detract from a look
