well it seems rutherford are the cheapest at 500 installed. But the guy i spoke to tends to reckon the 4480's stuff the steering column or somethin like that because they wrap around near it and produce 2 much heat so he recommended the 4499's... anybody heard of this happening with the 4480's before?

hmm i got 4480's from ebay for about 400$ (new), from installed them myself, then drove to a exhaust shop to get the cat etc hooked up to the rest of the exhaust (car already had a 2.5" redback)

the steering that goes close to the extractors is just a metal shaft, so it should be ok i guess....?? you do have to take it off to get the extractos on, but its pretty easy once you do :D

ive heard of things melting from the heat coming off the extractors, electrical connectors and wat not...but not the column itself

ive heard upgraded swaybars make even normal driving heaps better

Yeah, it does. I have Genuine Ford EL XR6 springs and shockies, an adjustable 32mm front swaybar, and a 27mm rear swaybar, plus the strut brace, strengthened mounting points for the outer links on the rear, all Superpro bushes. Handles like a train on rails, stays flat through corners/round-a-bouts, etc.... I like how it handles.
