Hey all, I am planning to get a 3.45:1 in my EF Falcon, or a 3.7, not sure yet, until I find out which would be better..... but when I do decide, should I get the entire new diff/rear axle, or could I just get my existing one upgraded, i.e the spider cogs and gears inside it changed out, leaving the rest of it (axles and such) as is?

What would be better to do, or would it make no difference to change the existing cogs, oppossed to getting the whole new contraption from an XR6 or such?....."Diff and axle"

Thank you, Aaron....:)

Get the whole thing from an XR6, its easier, quicker. From same model of course.

Dude, its about 950 for a complete centre change, and you can get the ratio you want and for about 150 more you can get a mini spool, heaps better than a LSD, although very hard on tires
