Well, the other night, I noticed that my trip computer was playing up. It would alternate between the top half of the numbers showing, and then the bottom half. I pushed a couple of buttons, and the current time came up. After a couple of minutes, I noticed that the time hadnt changed. Also, after turing off the car, the low fuel (had under 80 ltrs) waring didnt go off. Now, two days later, the same time is still being shown, and it doesnt respond to any of the buttons being pushed. Any ideas on what it is, or do I need a new one??

Probably time for a new one dude. I had a issue like this when i got my car back on the road. It warner me every time i lost 10km of fuel. EG it alarmed at 110 then 100...not at 80 40 and 20.
But it all went to normal the next time i started the car. Maybe because you have a GLi you should check the line that you added for it and see if there is anything else wrog.
