well i got a cable from the wreckers $55 (new) ford wanted $76. im gonna put it in as soon as i get my car back from getting a new gas converter put in. we'll see if WOT makes a diff :). my guess is it will

btw it was streched and cracked and fraying around about the rocker cover (which alot of them do apparently)

$55 mod that takes 1second of 0-100m time. i should sell it as a mod on ebay for $200. it makes heaps of difference. it was a really fiddly job removing and replacing the pedal, i swear for just tries to make it difficult.

gears now change at around 4.8krpm. case closed

i think i got this problem as well, mine was so bad it wouldn't kick down into 3rd when i floored it at about 60 kph

any way i chucked a few washers inbetween the cable and pedal. Improved a bit but its getting worse now :x

yeah i thought of doing that. then i though well i just spend more than 3g fixing the engine and lpg. i may as well for out 55 and do it properly. as i said earlier the wrecker told me its a verry common problem. trust me it was the best money ive ever spent on the car

Maybe get ur trans serviced and get them to reset it to sports mode. If its in fuel save or auto learn it'll have a slow shift at low speeds / low accelleration.

None of those things exist, and he already fixed it.
