I have done a ECU diagnostic and it came up with a bunch of errors, I have corrected most of the errors but there are two errors that I have tried everything I can think of to fix, the errors are 521 power steering pressure sensor is open circuit and error 538 which is something to do with the throttle not being maxed out last normal start.
The power steering error is what has stumped me because I have replaced the sensor completely and cleaned the connections. The last thing I did after re-seating all the connections on the wiring harness that I could see was to test the current coming out of the connection going to the sensor. There was a constant 10V current coming from the connection, in my opinion it should theoretically work yet it isn’t so, I am thinking it could be something to do with the ECU itself. Is there anything else I should try?

When you test the steering switch, the engine has to be running, and turning the steering wheel, so that the ECU sees this as well as the diag's moniter too. KOER test for steering and throttle TPS.

dont forget to check the wiring between the sensor and the ecu. Open circuit means there is no connectivity. What I would do is run a temperorary set fo wires to the sensor and see if that fixes the problem

Thanks for that Barry
