The C10 doesn't have a cable, but a kick-down rod, connected to the carby, and also a vacuum modulator that can leak ATF into the engine.
The C10 was sold by Ford dealerships, to replace the FMX boxes, because it was cheaper to sell a brand new C10 than repair an FMX.
You'll note that the C10 looks just like a C4.
