Only 10 months on since its 2nd rebuild the Auto has had enough again unfortunately. The auto got a vibration when slowing down and on take off for a day, next day it lost reverse but I could drive forward with it
selected in reverse neutral and drive shifting through all gears like normal and about 20mins later there was go at all.
If the tranny place doesn't warrant it i'm seriously thinking of fitting a manual. The auto's are good but it felt slow, alot of people say that manual really livens the drive up so i'm waiting for a phone call to see if I stay with auto or go for the manual.

Na the guys who built it are very reputable, and well known in the area. I think this is a sign from the heavens mate  Ive never looked back and I remember one of our first convo's saying that you should chuck a manual in it, sorry to jinx you

No floggin it, a few boot fulls when overtaking & take off, but apart from that gentle driving, and a box trailer tow every now and then. What would it cost me to install a manual? The auto has set me back $2500

cheapest quote i got for all parts plus fitting was $1500, for manual that is. not worth putting in another auto...so much more expensive, plus they don't work as long.
