I have an EB 3.45 LSD at home that I want to put in my EL. I know I need to change over the centres but someone at my brothers work said that if my diff is a 2.XX then the 3.45 centre wont fit and my diff has to be a 3.XX for it to fit. Is this true? Also what did EL fairmonts come out with stock.

Cheers,
Rod.

The auto will change a little funny, because the ECU running the show is programmed for a specific diff ratio, namely 3.08 or 3.23, depending on which unit is specified.

nar not true ,the 2xxx the will fit a 3xxx with a welder and a roll of duct tape, or you could run the complete eb diff and run the top eb trailing arms. anythink is possable, put a 88 pintara 4.11:1 center in a few banana peals will take up the slap. becarefull though the ecu might get out and walk home
