My Fairmont Ghia has a trim code E and I want to know what it stands for. Car is a 4,9 (P) with C6 (B) and charcoal (V) paint and LSD. She has ESP interior, Can I find out from VIN what just what the car was built as?

There was no specific model number from Ford for the ESP. So I would imagine that they would have used the model number 18238.
They also had different front bucket seats too, I can't remember what the brand was, but it was still on the seats for all to see, Recaro???? Scheel???something like that.
We have a geniune XE w/shop manual at work, it would be in there, so I'll have a look.
What colour is it???? There were only a few colours, and they were 2 tone.

They are very similar, C4, C5 (Bronco 4X4), C6, C10. The C10 was a replacement for the FMX tranny.
The C5 had a deep pan, this is the service kit you use for the deep alloy pans fitted to modified C4 etc.....
