If you want HP-KW then you can Times say 340Hp by 0.746 which equals to 253.64Kw.
So if you want Hp-Kw its Times by 0.746 & if you want Hw-Hp its divid by 0.746 Easy way to remember which way is which is to think if you want a bigger number to smaller number ie Hp-Kw then you TIMES where as if you want a smaller number to a bigger number ie Kw-Hp then you divid. Its the backwards way to normal way cos its .746 so its not a whole number. I prob have confussed you but yea thats it Griffo

horses at the wheels is very close to kw at the flywheel, thats the quickest, easiest way to get an idea of the figures
ie 450rwhp is damn near 450fwkw

Worksheet i posted ages back:
http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopi ... lculations Just remember that its VERY difficult to accurately gauge power loss through the drivetrain and therefore any calculation of engine HP based on rear wheel output will be flawed.

Quick and easy way to convert
HP = KW * 4 / 3 KW = HP * 3 / 4 power at rear wheels ~ power at flywheel * 0.7 (very roughly) so a car with 200HP at the flywheel... ... has 200HP * 3 / 4 = 150kw at the flywheel ... has 200HP * 0.7 = 140HP at the rear wheel and 140HP at the reat wheels = 140 * 3 / 4 = 105rwkw

find a workshop with an engine dyno when blueprinting. break it in on the engine dyno & get results.
install the engine back on the car then take it in for a chassis dyno run. compare the deference & that should give you your loses. that is the most accurate way to measure wfkw & rwkw.

That will give you torque and everything else you can think of as well... if it can be converted it'll have it. Now, let's see, do they have one for hot lesbians?
