yeh maybe, anyway i changed my first post so people would shut up whining, anyway, anyone who would buy and fit this would know if their car is limited or not.

The speed signal comes from the gearbox.

Because all EA onwards LWB are limited? lol, no, not limited, and they have the same ECU AFAIK. hmmm, maybe not, cos I changed mine... but still, didn't seem limited before that either. Cheers

yeh, it seems that ED upwards are limited, i think im gonna keep it, its just way too tempting - to get some tailshaft loops and some time on the track that is

On the item itself, does it cut the rev limiter?

that would explain the difficulty I had in finding the same part number... I guess I have the sedan one in there now... whats the difference? maybe thats why it was running s**t?
Cheers

No idea on the difference, shift points maybe, limiter mainly I'm guessing. i doubt it'd affect the engine at all.
Assuming you have an EA-ED, get that part number and I'll tell you what ECU it is. |

The old one's part number is 91DA-12A650-KC
the new one is different. I think it's KK at the end or something. My car is an EB series two pre smart lock wagon. Cheers

The last letter doesn't matter.
91DA-12A650-KC and 91DA-12A650-KK are both 4.0 pre-smartlock LWB auto. |
