get its specs and use your timing light easy as.

You cant just plug a timing light in and check it, you need to have the car in diagnostic mode. Read the sticky at the top of the workshop, it is explained there.

cheers fellas,
just a ? bout diognosis mode, i dont have a manual on hte car and would appreciate the advice on this. the car has had the typical coil, module, fuel pump relay alternator and batt change and is runnig ruff when i drive it i,v spent$$$ would like to avoid a workshop if i can. any ideas? |

Buy a Gregories manual...its the best investment you spend on your car...especially, as you say, to avoid a workshop....
It tells you how to do everything, including running diagntostic mode, and listing all the fault codes... |
