Getting the rear main seal out can be a bit of a pain, just use something nice and sharp to try and hook it out. But dont score the crank doing it. Good luck bolting the flywheel back up but! I had a bit of trouble doing the flex plate on my EB

To change the seal, pry it out with a screwdriver/hook/etc. It is tricky, take your time not to damage anything.

To remove the spigot bearing, pack it full of grease (fill the hole), take a broom stick or anything that fits just right in the center hole and smack it in with a hammer. The pressure from the grease will push the bearing out.

I've found a flat blade screwdriver good for this - use the outer crank edge as a pivot point, work it gradually using opposite sides, and don't damage the seal area on the crank and the recess the seal sits in.

You should consider replacing the rear welch plug also - 40mm brass plug. Drain the cooling system first into a container by pulling one of the hoses near the heater tap. Punch a hole into the old plug and carefully lever it out. Use Stag or similar smeared onto the welch plug before putting it in.
