Hi im looking to paint my icc face on my ba mk II xr just wondering if anyone has pull there icc out or know of someone who has what info i should know or if it is worth it. I know that you have to keep them upright but whats holding me back is that i was told if you pull it out the car is useless and that you have to get ford to reprogram the whole thing for it to work again. Can anyone help me
Thanks Mixxxr

i think if you remove it and put it back in with the battery out you should be sweet, if you replace it tho your screwed until ford reprograms it. i belive there is a mob that sells glossy black ones, so if you can track them down i'm sure they'd have instructions on how to fit there fascia.

if you want one already done (black gloss or silver) check out these guys, www.asllogistics.com

i found the hardest thing taking the unit out is the stupid plugs! you wont have any problems taking it out and putting it back in and im pretty sure that turning it upside down is only a problem for the 6 stacker. but be on the safe side and try not to do it just incase

the plugs on the BEM have the release clips all in different spots. One of them has it closer to the nose of the plug then the others too

Neo_nick - I've noticed that. I'm going to try it on my old cluster first so i can get the hang of it. It doesnt look too hard.

xpression - I know the release clips you're talking about, i just couldn't get in there to press them in properly so i cave up
