i have replaced the headgasket, and while it was off i looked at the CAM and noticed that the number markings on it have been changed.
it reads 94DT 62 50 AC 9 the letters in bold are the ones that look as if it the original has been grinded off and they have been stamped using a metal stamp. |

Always one in the crowd
It was quite strange of Tickford, but some cams came with the T and C cast into the cam. And some of them came as you have found, with the 2 existing letters grinded off and a T and C engraved on the thing. I've always wondered if there manual and auto EF XR6 tickford cams. |

I was told it was a wade cam,
i thought it was a bit strange that the T was grounds off and then stamped. seems a bit cheap from factory do after market cam grinders mark their cams in anyway ? |

Wade will stamp the profile number either on the rear face of the cam, or the face where the cam sprocket slides onto.
Normally its on the rear face. |
