Gday Guys< im lookin at buying an ED XR6 for a really good price but am a bit worried of a rust problem ,it has a reasonable amount in the inner sil panel,underneath of the car,should i be worried about it or just ignore it, does anyone have any information or fixes for this problem, cheers as it is a nice car

rust in that aria of the car is not good and can be expensive to repair.
i would try and get is as cheap as possable then buy an ED GLi and change everything over..

its common with cars that have a sill like that, from stone chips or the vernts get blocked and will not allow water out, you will find some EB/EDs didnt rust as people used to spray stone guard there and get rust proofing (or fish oil)

its not allot to get it fixed, dont get it bogged up best order new sils from ford and get them welded in and get it rust proffed also and stone guard and you will never have that problem again.

as my car has the same rust in the sils and i will doing just that new sils.
