hey guys

I got a Ef fairmont I6 what has a problem, When i drive along i can just use the acc but when i stop at light and stuff or come off high way and stop the car shutter like insane and the revs at one like 300-400 it like on the verg of stalling

i know that there should be something that tell the car to idel higher when acc running just can remember what it was and where to find it.
ands what to do for a fix

Yeah mine too. >>>BUT<<< When I recently replaced the fuel filter, the leads and spark plugs. Oil and oil filter all in one go. It ran like a dream, smooth as silk for about 3 or 4 days. Then slowly reverted back to the bad idle at cold startup, air-con on at idle in drive, ect. Sounds like a dud ECU doesn't it?

ill give my idel speed valve a clean at work today and see how it goes on the way home and ill give ya the update

clean the injectors. best is to take them out completely and send them away

check your fault codes. i would say it is a faulty oxygen sensor.
