Good thing you asked before buying.

Do a search for "ebay resistor" and you will get lots of info. In short, they are no good.

nope the latter... :)

people will jump on ths "resistor mod" as it has been covered so many times, a safe way to aviod bing hammered is to read the stickies at the top of the "6 cyl" forum, it has a section dedicated to this "mod" prob should be stickied here to.

p.s. check your gearbox thread, lol at "specialist" not knowing tiptro

only 45 huh?, did you stick it on crooked? (hehehe) ok get the picture, the resistor doesnt work, so why arent these people shut down on ebay. I asked both guys that sell em a few questions. 1 guy emailed me back said it was owners right to know, when i purchase I will find out. I told him to get stuffed, other guy emailed back with some C**k story about air density, I think when he figured out I knew all about air density he hasnt mailed me back. heheheheeeee

My mate got 1 for his VT, and it did nothing and i bagged the s**t out of him too. its too hard to gather evidence against them as dynos vary too much to shut them down. Mind you, ebay allows plenty of scammers to operate nonetheless.
