Where the aircon closes the door to recirculate the air inside the car? My answer would be dont :D
I think the EF/EL dash has to come right out to remove it and fix. I managed to get mine out of my EB, after noticing it was dmaged. Its nice to have it back, but it takes a while to get it. Ive also got a new rattle in my dash. Probably should have screwed everything back in. SOme people have had success just screwing it into recirc. If they want fresh air, they just wind down the window :)
