umm yer repair option b is simple as
looks like to me you are adding a earth wire to the sensor but option a is simple enough as u have the xr8 chaser cluster basicall cut wire at pin 3 and bridge that to pin 2 easy! the back of the cluster has 3 plugs finding the right plug is the hard part..

Found this thread searching for info on the low coolant sensor switch fitting. There are two resistors in the switch, 180 and 1200 ohms in series, for 1380 ohms when the switch is in low coolant position, and the light stays on. Close switch, and the 1200 ohm resistor is shorted out, for a total of 180 ohms, and the light goes off. Open circuit, or short circuit, light flashes once per second.... Dang. |
